Shimla: That birthplace glory

Image
It all started when I noticed some work offs i.e. 26th January (Saturday) and of course 27th January (Sunday) consecutively approaching, resulting in a long weekend and there it was the commencement of planning as how to go about the holidays that are looming soon. Whenever I get an off from work I tend to do something particular as I don't like to waste the day sitting at home and doing “just” nothing. And a person like me always crave for such long weekends, it gives me time "my time". After thinking and getting fully over excited my witty itinerant mind spoke out to me, It convinced me to go for an excursion, a very short trip to a place which is nearby and can be done in two days. So, I thought and thought and thought a lot as which place to visit. But somehow the answer to my question was baffling as my ultimate best place (Himachal anyday) was the final answer. But to go there and come back in such short duration of two days was way too impossible. So I thought d

One Permanent Abide

"Here I am taking on the pleasures of the bedazzled sunset by the lakeside. Divine lake remains disinterested, ignores to play with the impish wind tide" "The hideous trees made bewitching silhouettes and water being the backdrop. Bittersweet orange complexion on the lake bed, in midst of it I spotted a leaf drop" "All I want is peace; I want to hold the aroma of this lake to make me fresh from inside. I am attached to it as it calls me every time, wish I can make on it, one permanent abide"                                                Hauz Khas Lake at Hauz KhasVillage, Delhi.

Here's to Aamir Khan and to make my old-age accompanied!

Like everyone I have a “not so small” wish-list, out of all countless wishes of the things I want to do, one is to collect a heap of books and to keep them safely so that they can be adorned onto the book shelf of my small reading room which I wish to have when I would have my own house and later in my old-age days these books can accompany me too. I don't know how to make the best use of books that we are already done with. Pass them on to someone else is not a good idea for me,  So like an intellectual human I would keep all my books to myself, safe. You can call me selfish. As I said here that I would click and write more this year, at the same time to add on to that I would also like to read more and more. I have an awful habit of picking up the books and somehow reading the books leisurely with consuming time so that I can take them with me to sleep more often or for more number of nights. This happens perpetually with me resulting in taking much more time to finish the

Two of many reasons why I hate Winters!

Image
I was in transit when I came up with this not so bad idea. Delhi is in shivering cold and at the same time it's awarded with husky blanket of mist in the air so its apparent to have traffic-halts at regular duration  I took a great advantage of it today by scribbling down words on the window of our car , finally capturing it. I find winters depressing and baleful, each one of us are free to choose their respective favorite season though I am being a little personal here. Poor suffers the most. In this horrendous cold when we feel uncomfortable and chilly sitting at our homes then we all can imagine the terrible situations people are going through with no homes, need I say more. Secondly, I hate taking bath in this cold ridden temperature of 4'C or around.
